By A Lady Publishing

Self-publishing my own music has been a dream of mine since I began composing, and I am so proud and lucky to share this with you. For most of the history of western classical music, women's works have been co-opted, tossed aside, buried, diminished, etc. I feel incredibly fortunate to live in an era that is starting to uplift the musical voices of women. "By A Lady" is a reference to the byline of one of my favorite authors: Jane Austen. Works like Emma and Pride and Prejudice which are now inextricably linked to Austen were simply attributed to A Lady.
